Project's Goal:
The project is contributing to the improvement of human rights and justice in Bangladesh, with a particular focus on women’s and disadvantaged peoples’ rights.

| Poor and disadvantaged community members (especially women and girls) in the rural project areas obtain justice in accordance with the state laws, policies, and human rights standards. |
At least 80% (2,176 out of 2,720) of the estimated registered non-criminal disputes* have been settled through informal and formal justice mechanisms (such as Restorative Justice sessions, community mediations, and legal aids) ensuring gender sensitivity and alignment with human rights standards. *related to domestic violence, inheritance rights, divorce, paying alimony money, child marriage, dowry, family disputes, polygamy, guardianship, GBV, land & property disputes, loan repayment, and other petty disputes. Indicator 1.2 At least 70% of all settled disputes (1,524 out of 2,176) relate to women and girl’s rights. |

At least 75% (1,350 out of 1,799 ) of non-state actors in the project area assist disadvantaged community members in registering complaints and seeking legal remedies in accordance with gender equality and human rights standards. Indicator 2.2 At least 5,500 poor and disadvantaged individuals from the project region (of which at least 3,300 women and 165 persons with disabilities), have received state benefits from one new social protection programme |
